Juicies have a new look for summer, following a major brand refresh.
It’s a reflection that the generations of Kiwi kids who have grown up with the iconic frozen juice bar are now into their 20s, 30s and beyond.
Before embarking on the change, we ran some surveys and focus groups and found that while kids and adults were familiar with Juicies from school, many didn’t realise they were also available in the supermarket. Customers also told us that our packaging made us look “just like all the other frozen confectionery products” even though Juicies are 100% natural with no added sugar unlike most of the other options.
We worked with a great design team to come up with a look that links the Juicies kids enjoy in school canteens with our supermarket product - and to better tell the story about the simple, natural, real fruit ingredients.
Our company founder Brian Hirst first started making the sachets of fresh-pressed apple juice blended with other fruits and berries back in 1990. Today, it’s a big business with a range of Juicies products sold in nine different countries around the world.
The new look Juicies are in supermarkets now and will be in New Zealand schools for Term 1, 2017.
While the look has changed, the taste hasn't. Juicies are still the same size, price and made to the same great recipe.
